In 2009 Jeremy Corbyn called Hamas and Hezbollah “friends” at a parliamentary meeting.
After Israel banned him from entry, he demanded that the UK government recognise the genocide, impose a full arms embargo and hold a public inquiry into Britain’s complicity. Common Dreams reported him saying Britain has facilitated genocide and must end arms sales and military cooperation with Israel, which he described as a system of apartheid, occupation and genocide.
