PRIVACY NOTICE

Last updated: October 2026

Who runs this site

It is an independent project and is not affiliated with any government, political party, religious organization or other institution. A postal address and name are available to individuals who exercise their rights under the GDPR. Contact: contact@antisemitismdb.com.

What this site publishes

This site publishes entries about individuals whose public statements we assess as antisemitic under the IHRA Working Definition (see Methodology). An entry contains the person’s name, the text of the public posts, their dates, links to the original posts, and a cropped screenshot of each post. Classifications are our assessment, not a legal finding. We do not publish photographs of people, employer details, or links to profiles other than the individual source posts.

Source of the data

Entries are based solely on publicly accessible posts made by the person on social media platforms. Reports submitted through our form are verified against the original post before anything is published.

Legal basis

We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interests in documenting and informing the public about public statements (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and, to the extent the statements reveal political opinions, because the person manifestly made them public (Article 9(2)(e) GDPR). We also rely on freedom of expression and information (Article 17(3)(a) GDPR). We weigh these interests against the rights of the person concerned in each case.

Recipients

Entries are published on a publicly accessible website. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) processes data technically on our behalf. We do not share entries with any other recipient.

Reports submitted through the form

The report form asks for the name of the person being reported, links to their social media profiles, up to two images, and an optional comment. It does not ask for your name or email address. Every report is reviewed and verified before anything is published. Reports that cannot be verified are not published and are deleted after 90 days.

Technical data

To prevent spam and abuse, your IP address is stored with your submission for up to 30 days and then deleted. Our hosting provider and our spam-protection service (Cloudflare Turnstile) also process technical data, such as your IP address, when you use the form. Uploaded images are stored on our server.

Donations

If you donate through PayPal, PayPal handles your payment details, and I do not receive your card or bank information, and I do not collect your identity.

Cookies and third-party services

This site uses a consent banner. Essential cookies needed for the site to work are always active. YouTube videos (Google) and the Google Translate language selector load only after you give consent, and they may transfer data such as your IP address to Google, including outside the EU. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings link on the site. The donation page uses PayPal, which processes payments under its own privacy policy.

To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner”.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.

The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we will not be able to manage your consents.

How long we keep information

Entries are reviewed at least once a year and removed if they no longer meet the criteria on our Methodology page or if a request to remove them succeeds. Reports that cannot be verified are deleted after 90 days.

Corrections and removal requests

If you appear on this site and believe information about you is inaccurate, out of context, or should be removed, email contact@antisemitismdb.com with the link to the page and the reason. Every request will be reviewed and replied to within 30 days. Information shown to be inaccurate is corrected or removed. Other requests are assessed case by case.

Your rights & Contact

If we hold personal data about you, you have the right to access it, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict its processing, and to object to its processing. Write to contact@antisemitismdb.com with the link to the entry and your reasons. We reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in the EU member state where you live, work, or where the alleged infringement occurred, and to seek a judicial remedy.
